The Story Behind Jesse Camilles

The Perugini and Erickson families came together in 1996 with their mutual interests
in opening a restaurant and founded Jesse Camille's Restaurant, on the Hop Brook
Golf Course in Naugatuck.  Named after Larry Erickson's first born daughter and
Camille Perugini's granddaughter, Jesse Camille's offers traditional favorites,
like Garlic Crusted Prime Rib, Handmade Pastas and the freshest seafood dishes.
All soups and salad dressings are made on premises, and Jesse Camille's boasts
of the best New England Clam Chowder this side of Cape Cod! 

Larry Erickson hails from Boston, where he managed several restaurants and hotels,
including The Salty Dog in Faneuil Hall, Legal Seafood and The Lenox Hotel on Boylston Street.  Camille Perugini is a local resident who garnered her restaurant experience
at The Hobbit House Restaurant (now Mad River Pub) and the former Red Bull Inn. 
Together, and with the assistance of Camille's late daughter, Camille, and handyman,
John Perugini, the family chose to open Jesse Camille's Restaurant to bring consistently fresh, well-prepared and affordable dining to the area. 

Jesse Camille's offers dinner dining 7 days a week, and lunch dining 6 days a week. 
It has been described as cozy with a sophisticated charm, its dining room warmed by
a cozy brick fireplace and lighted by antique chandeliers.  Summer diners can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Hop Brook Golf Course and a babbling brook, as they enjoy summer specialties of the house, including steamed littleneck clams with hot cherry peppers and tomatoes, or steamed lobsters, while sitting under the awning covered deck. 

Jesse Camille's is also famous for hosting bridal and baby showers, post funeral receptions, small weddings and private functions of all types.  Additionally, Jesse Camille's offers exquisite family holiday dining on Thanksgiving, Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day, which features a bountiful buffet,  a chef-attended carving station and a decadent dessert station.
